Summary/Abstract: The paper embraces research on rationality and human altruism. The research was conducted on 500 students in three parts: variations of dictator games, CRT test and demographic questions. The general conclusion was that more rational participants behaved more selfishly. The paper also brings more detailed information about differences between behaviour of women and men, differences in decisions on giving and taking, and the influence of faith on dictators’ decision making.
