The study focused on the following: investment funds, pension funds, insurance institutions and commercial banks. The dynamics of the asset value and the analysis of the investment portfolio structure were applied. Investment funds featured the highest dynamics of the growth of assets and a high diversification of the investment portfolio. The investment activity of insurance institutions and banks has been distinctly lower compared to investment funds and pension funds.
