Summary/Abstract: In this paper we are analyzing the poetic activity and the scientific linguistic engagement of Blaže Koneski, observed as “linguаculture”, “language in culture” - “culture in language” from the point of view of anthropological linguistics. He is a poet and professional linguist of the diachrony and synchrony of the Macedonian people. The giant from Nebregovo is an important factor of linguistic socialization and the transgenerational enculturation of the Macedonian people. Using language as an “open universe of meanings”, amenable to the external influences from the surroundings, with which he continually and reciprocally interacts, Blaze Koneski created poetry as a enduring, “unspent” anthropological - linguistic and ethnographic document about the life of the Macedonian people in his past and in present, with testamental messages also for future Macedonian generations. With the creative use of his mother tongue, Koneski have been showed and proved throughout all his life that there are no “primitive” - “advanced” and “undeveloped” - “developed” languages, but that the Macedonian language with both its vernacular and the newly created vocabulary, as well as its grammar, is able to express the deepest layers of human thought and the most abstract concepts and categories.
