Summary/Abstract: The very title, eco-feminism, indicates the idea of bringing together the concept of ecology and the concept of feminism in dealing with social realities. This paper presents arguments for the basis of such a union, starting from a historical overview of both avenues. The paper will show how wide and multi-dimensional the subject is, depending on the work of individual eco-feminists. It is also important to note that the idea is still relatively new and developing, and it is thus even more important to contribute to its development and shed light on it, since it is virtually unknown in the BiH society.
