Summary/Abstract: The present thesis is concerned with collectivization of agriculture and the rise of common-folk houses. It deals with the life story of Josef Hrazdíra, a middle landowner from Vilémovice, and his attempts to keep his private farm after the year 1948. The thesis does not only describe the micro-historical view of the Hrazdíra family life story, but also simultaneously researches contemporary legal norms and their application.
