Summary/Abstract: The aim – to draw attention to the most fundamental developments devoted to the traditions represented scientific achievements within different theoretical and methodological concepts, including social and philosophical, the conclusions of which, in our opinion, is not played the greatest role in shaping the cultural approach to their research. To achieve this goal will focus on the analysis of the scientific heritage of the Russian sociologist and philosopher Vladimir Plahov who investigated social systemohenez, the basic operation of law considered by tradition. Therefore, analysis of the works of Plahov "Tradition and society : the experience of philosophical and sociological studies" can be stated that its findings serve as an important foundation for the modern understanding of the traditions in close connection with the innovations taking place in the culture, which can be justified by the following provisions.
