Summary/Abstract: Police is in heavily dependent on crime victims. Excluding the types of crime that start with the ex officio of the police, most crimes police are recorded at the public’s initiative through complaints or denunciations, which overwhelmingly come from victims. Also, throughout the judicial chain, the victims are in most cases the key elements for the identification of the offender. In this sense, one can say that the police needs the victims and this need to ensure cooperation materializes in the administration of justice.
