Summary/Abstract: In the center of Iași City, in some historical caves, the body of a 16-year-old student is identified. The on-site exam reveals the naked body with the lingerie abandoned aside, in a gynaecological position, and with a strangling chain around the neck made up of the belt from her school bag. Necropsy determines the cause of death as mechanical asphyxia and discovers recent signs of defloration (sexual asphyxia). After seven months of extensive and thorough criminal investigation, the genetic fingerprint identifies as author the victim’s brother, aged 22, who at both hearings and forensic psychiatric expertise reports on the manner and circumstances in which he committed the act and does not evoke psychic disturbances. In the following, we are interested only in the motivational aspects of the incest act followed by homicide. We believe that the criminal investigation of the case cannot be completed and therefore reliable without knowledge of the motivation of the act, which in incest causes psychoanalysis.
