Summary/Abstract: The main issue of Boróka Parászka's essay is the following: beyond stereotypes of drama and theatre history, is it possible to make women visible in contemporary Hungarian theatre in Transylvania? After surveying successes and failures, the author analyses the issues of gender-awareness as well as questions of female and male roles and identity, malfunctions of the family model, and the representation of violence in the plays published in the volume dráMÁzat 2015.
