Summary/Abstract: Constantin Romanescu was born on the 18th of May 1926 in Soroca. He graduated the Grigore Ghica Theoretical High School in Dorohoi (1952-1956) and the University of Medicine of Iasi (1947-1952), majoring in pediatrics. He was a pediatrician between 1952 and 1956, and then, in 1956, he became a psychiatrist and professor at the University of Medicine Iasi. He specialized in France, Italy, England, and fellow of the WHO and gained the title of an Emerit Member of the Medicine Academy of Romania.
