Summary/Abstract: The article deals with certain problems related to the implementation of the Legal Deposit Law, through the prism of the second largest and main scientific library in the country – the University Library “St. Kliment Ohridski”, which has been receiving legal deposit copies for more than 90 years. An analysis of library acquisitions received through legal deposit over the last 20 years has been made and the problems related mainly to the operation of the Regulations on the Implementation of the Legal Deposit Law especially in its part “Distribution of legal deposit copies” are posed.
