Summary/Abstract: A aborda subiectul referitor la formarea profesională în bibliotecile din România, în general, presupune, în primul rând, sublinierea necesității acestui demers profesional care are un caracter continuu, impus de evoluțiile din acest domeniu. Fiind o activitate care presupune respectarea unor parametri profesionali deosebiți, această pregătire este strict legiferată de mai multe normative. Lucrarea de față își propune să ordoneze și să prezinte actele normative care reglementează formarea și dezvoltarea profesională și să scoată în evidență lacunele legislației din acest domeniu. ABIR and the legislation in the field and professional development in libraries To deal with the subject concerning the professional training in Romanian libraryes, it generatly supposes mainly the underlining of the necessity of this professional atep which has a permanent aspect imposed by the developments in this field. Being an activity which implies the observance of special professional parameters, this training is strictly legislated by more standards. This present work wants to set in order and to show the normative acts which establish the formation and the professional developments, and to point out the blanks of this domain's legislation.
