Summary/Abstract: Current issues regarding the issue of readiness of future lawyers for professional activity in the penal system of Ukraine were considered. Different approaches of scientists on the definition of a concept «readiness» were analyzed. Attention is paid to the structural components of readiness of future lawyers for profession activity in the penal system of Ukraine.
