Summary/Abstract: The general social actions of prevention of thefts of vehicles which are made by the organised groups are considered. Specific targets of struggle against the organised crime and strategic directions of counteraction to it are allocated. Factors which negatively influence level of thefts by motor transport are investigated. Among the general social actions of prevention of thefts of vehicles which are made by the organised groups the concrete organizational technical actions applied by proprietors of vehicles are offered.
