Summary/Abstract: In 2005, sexual exploitation is on the first place among forms of exploitation, representing approximately 70% and labour exploitation represent about 20% of the total number of victims of trafficking in persons. But lately there has been a significant increase in the number of victims trafficked for labour in various sectors, about 40% of the total number of victims identified in 2012 were exploited for labour and about 50% for sexual exploitation. Consequently, we believe it is important and necessary, comparative analysis of the legislation to determine whether the regulation of offenses under study argues effectively combat trafficking for labour exploitation.
