Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on showing the position of the elderly in the Church as a community of people. Changing reality is not conducive to valorisation of old age, on the contrary, seniors are exposed to marginalization and exclusion. The Church in its teaching and ministry can contribute to the acceptance and survival of old age with dignity.
