Summary/Abstract: The hierarchical structure of the modern landscapes in Volyn’ region and in general inhabited landscapes was described. It was analyzed the dynamic of the area of the inhabited landscapes in the main places according to the use of natural resources. The schemes of maps of the inhabited landscapes in Volyn’ region was built. The zonal vision of the picture of the inhabited landscapes according to the natural conditions was investigated. The retrospective analysis of the theoretical and methodological aspects of the previous total experience gives the reason for the authors to consider that future landscape studying studios have an important practical meaning for the needs of the district planning and is one of the main ways of the regional investigations.
