Summary/Abstract: The article presents Boczki – a small locality in the north-western part of the municipality of Szadek. It provides information gathered through studies in archives, regional libraries and the Internet, as well as information obtained from the persons living in the village of Boczki and in its vicinity. Boczki is mentioned in historical sources as early as the 14th century. It has witnessed and experienced many major events in Poland’s history, such as the January Uprising, and the two World Wars
