A Critical Overview of Several Recently Published Texts in Serbia Touching upon the Subject Matter of Terrorism and Counter-Terrorism

Summary/Abstract: The goal of this article is to provide critical evaluation of certain Serbian theoretical articles that address the issues of terrorism and counter-terrorism and yet do not posses necessary theoretical foundation or do not adhere to procedures necessary for scientific argumentation and conclusion-making, are not scientifically objective, do not achieve scientific levels of clarity, as well as those that are characterized by compilatory approach or even plagiarism. Texts analysis produces a set of theoretical and methodological deficits, their characteristic modes. Conclusion, apart from concisely presenting the findings of the article, refers to the necessity of application of scientifically sound and methodological, regardless of theoretical perspectives, as well as more innovative approach to studying this topic.
