Summary/Abstract: During the election period, all governments are applying populist policies to win the election. Every party strives to take power. Voters want to invest in regions and increase employment. Political parties use economic and fiscal policies as a means to win elections. After the election, stability policies are followed in the economy. The candidates to be selected work to increase the investment and employment of the region. In this period, public expenditures are increased and public revenues are reduced. This situation causes political corruption in Turkey as well as economic corruption. To prevent these, the Constitution proposed by the theory of constitutional Economics and which is in the interest of our country should be abolished. Otherwise, the narrower policies created after the elections are not tolerated by the public. Governments will want to be power again. To this end, measures should be taken to regulate monetary and fiscal policies as envisaged by the Constitution before and after the elections.
