Summary/Abstract: Purpose – At times of high competitiveness (marketing and strategic dominance of big tourist companies) maintenance of difference and corporate independence becomes a key factor to survival of individual hotels. The trouble of creating innovate and flexible model of business depends on seeing individual needs of particular purchasers and dynamic adjusting to changes of environment. Therefore, the purpose of today article is the evaluation of effectiveness of business model of functioning four stars hotel with medical SPA character. Design/methodology/approach – In the article the study of literature has been used as well as observations of economical practice. Findings – The result of today article is the presentation of business model of healing- SPA hotel. The hotel which provides services on four stars level (according to polish categorization) has created holistic medicinal and wellness offer with the use of natural mineral resources. Complexity of services of the business presented has become determinant of independent functioning on highly competitive tourism market. Originality/value – The positive value of the article is the attempt to define the business model in hotel industry.
