Summary/Abstract: Islamic art of ornamentation represents a very wide range of different artistic forms that have been arisen and developed in the atmosphere of Islamic spirituality. The variety and luxury of these forms, created on different cultural and artistic paradigms and the variety of their realization in different materials and techniques, are merely the proof of unity in their diversity and diversity in their unity. They are characterized by a number of peculiarities in which this art is recognizable and famous, such as abstraction, geometric base and mathematical essence, and soon. These peculiarities are deeply and directly linked to the Islamic spiritual message which is the starting point and path for understanding the nature of this art. Therefore, we have tried to show in this paper what the link is between Islamic art and Islamic spirituality, which led us to the very principles of this art, starting from the principle of Tawheed asthe supreme principle of the Islamic spiritual universe from which all other principles derive. We have also sought to answer the question of how the principles of Islamic art reflect on artistic forms and how the metaphysical ideas of Islamic spirituality are realized on the physical plane in concrete, sensory forms.
