Information quality evaluation in the selected Polish web page directories

Summary/Abstract: The article presents information quality evaluation in the selected polish web page directories.In the first part of the paper present: characteristics, classification and popularity ranking web pagedirectories. Subsequently was shown the methodology of information quality assessment in the webpage directories. To measure the information quality was proposed survey questionnaire. In thesecond part of the article presents the results of evaluating the quality of information in the selecteddirectories. It should be emphasized that the results are limited due to the small representativenessof the sample. The article ends with a summary containing conclusions and guidelines for furtherresearch directions.
