Social trust in society as a precondition for the formation of a civil society

Summary/Abstract: The role of social trust from the point of view of civil society setting up and the possibility of use of trust level as an indicator of civil society condition is studied in the article. On the basis of sociological studies the analysis of social trust level in Ukrainian society is conducted, aiming to determine the directions of Ukrainian civil society development.
