Management of Fixed Assets in Terms of Changes to the Durability and Reliability of Its Components

Summary/Abstract: The organization and effective management of fixed assets constitute the main area of analysis in the article. The economics of the operation and widely understood fixed assets management covers all techno-organizational issues related to its acquisition, operation, utilization, liquidation and renewal in terms of the technologies used and technical progress. The analysis of optimization problems in the management of the technical components of the property is reduced to the action that the least resource consumption allows you to achieve specific economic effect in the form of increased production and cost reduction. Economics of operation and processes determining it during utilization of technical objects shall be subject to a thorough analysis in order to indicate the methods to ensure the required effectiveness of projects with the participation of technical components of fixed assets. The effectiveness is closely connected with the operation, and as a result, with the properties of those assets because the reliability, durability and quality of fixed assets are combined with the costs of utilization. The characteristics of the operation economics describes an impact of the reliability indicators on the evolution of the costs incurred on both, maintenance and repair of assets and is determined directly by the evolution of applied techniques and technology. The end result is a conclusion indicating the impact of the technology dynamics on the management strategy of the property technical components and the importance of these changes in the economic calculation of the investments in business ventures with the use of fixed assets.
