Summary/Abstract: Number and species status of the diurnal birds of prey in the Dnipropetrovsk region are under consideration. Seasonal change of the birds’ number in natural and anthropogenic ecosystems was studied. The degree of climatic influence on the birds’ preference of different biotopes in the steppe Dnieper region was analysed.
