Summary/Abstract: Drug crime as a form of organized crime with all its features and characteristics has been able to survive and profit worldwide. Taking into account the characteristics of drug crime (high degree of organization, transnationality, involvement of organized criminal groups and organizations with hierarchical structure, recruiting of various profiles in the drug chain, corruption, money laundering, production and processing of drugs in one place and distribution of drugs throughout the world through specialized delinquent tactics, profitability etc..) that lead to the professionalization of this kind of crime and require a more serious approach to detecting and proving, by improving existing tools and methods and applying new ones which would be properly meet the challenges of drug crime. Special investigative measures are an important conspiratorial instrument to suppress drug crime, primarily because they are used to detect the drug crime hotspot, to cut off the drug channel, etc. On the other hand, all data, information, documents and objects that will be obtained by application of special investigative measures can be used as evidence in the criminal proceeding.
