Summary/Abstract: In the article explored specific of calendar rite of Ukrainians, in particular Gutsul'schinа, in the process of changes and under act of factors of political and social character in ХХ – at the beginning of ХХІ age. The large-scale fight of soviet ideologists of the totalitarian mode against the Ukrainian traditional ceremonies and national and cultural revival of traditions, ceremonial actions is considered after proclamation of independence of Ukraine.
