Musical and theatrical performances as a prerequisite for the establishment of operatic art in Ukraine

Summary/Abstract: The article considers problems of musical theatric performances as the reason of becoming of the Ukrainian opera’s art. Analyzing functioning of musical theatres in different regions of Ukraine, in particular, Kyiv region, its repertoire, national peculiarity, which permits to rate that Ukrainian musical theatric performances were the basis of moulding the opera’s art.
