Summary/Abstract: The article considers matters related to the structure of the criminal and legal norm and the sense of its basic elements. The author analyzes various conceptual approaches to settling the matter concerning the sense of a hypothesis as a structural element of the criminal law norm, peculiarities of its restatement, and doctrinal views regarding this matter existing in the modern theory of criminal law.
