Summary/Abstract: Article provides the concept of the accessibility of adult education, discerns the objective and subjective aspects of the accessibility of adult education, presents the research of the trends of training/learning accessibility for the employees in the industry and for the unemployed in Lithuania and refers to the experience of the EU countries in this field, stressing the importance of the adult education accessibility to the social and economical development and, in particular to the enhancement of the employability and competitiveness of the human resources.
