Summary/Abstract: Consulting can be defined as professional support offered to company managers in analyzing and solving practical problems. It makes it possible to transfer successful management systems from one company to another or from one organization to another. The main reason why consulting exists are changes. A consulting service consists in recommending appropriate measures and providing support for implementing the recommended measures, resulting from the investigation, identification, and analysis of the problems in a certain organization. In European countries, consulting has been developing for decades. In these countries, there are various consulting organizations, which differ in terms of their funding, organization, and the consulting process.
