Summary/Abstract: The structure of the Air Forces and the range of missions that can be conducted with the forces and means at hand demand that the planning of air operations be undertaken as a complex process oriented towards the fulfillment of the established objectives. The specificity of the air field requires that the personnel involved in air operations should plan the process by taking into account the particularities of each branch. Operational planning process should be consistent with the joint level process and flexible enough to be adapted at the level of the Air Forces units.
