Ural Ideographic Lexicography: Stages of Formation, Results and Perspectives

Summary/Abstract: Ural ideographic lexicography has been formed for the last thirty years. During this period there have been created and published fifteen ideographic dictionaries of various classes of words in their grammatical and semantic nature: verbs, nouns, adjectives, synonyms, and also semantic models of Russian verb clauses. The work on the dictionary of key concepts of the Russian language has been finished, and creation of The Big Thesaurus and The Universal Explanatory Ideographic Dictionary that include lexis of all parts of speech of the Russian language is the next step.
