Summary/Abstract: Many reforms in the social work, in general, in child protection, in particular brought General Department of Social Welfare and Child Protection as an institution at a crossroads in its may still seeking identity. According to specialists, DGASPC is the most important pillar of the welfare and development in the absence of social services at the community level, still remains, with few exceptions, the only one. In addition, this works most of the most experienced specialists in the system. However, the reproach which is bringing the institution are not rare and it is obvious that things could go better at this level. We believe that change can come only from the top down but from the direct relationship with the beneficiary social place where professional supervisory can find space to exercise his profession. Professionalizing the supervisors because it is only the beginning, unlike other professions related to social assistance, we wanted to hear what professionals know about DGASPC endorsement and accept the emergence of such professionals in the field supervisor of their activities.
