Summary/Abstract: It is known that Czechoslovakia was the country many people have fled from. Mostly because the Communist oppression. But less known is the fact that to Czechoslovakia fled persecuted Communists from states like Italy or Yugoslavia. The government gave them background and in the context of a socialist block a high standard of living also. If, however, they did not want to assimilate, they stayed at the level of refused foreigners.
