Summary/Abstract: The paper presents an important and practical problem of the use of sales techniques and their influence on customers' purchasing decisions. At present, in a time of crisis, it is even more important because there is a search for techniques that will increase sales and consequently the amount of revenue and profits for companies. Conducted research consisted in individual interviews among customers, in order to obtain their opinions on the effect of sales techniques on their purchasing decisions.
