Summary/Abstract: During the excavation of the plot Bécsi street 69–71 (Budapest, 3rd district, Budaújlak) a part of a settlement from the Árpád Period (AD 10–13th century) was found. A house was excavated in the eastern side of the area; 5 ovens, 1 ditch and 4 pits were found in the western side of the area. According to the infilling of the house the settlement was inhabited between the end of the 12th century and the beginning of the 13th century. The site was a part of the Árpád Period settlement, Szentjakabfalva, where thriving agricultural estate-network was running. The settlement became abandoned after the Mongol invasion.
