Summary/Abstract: This article examines the development of the insurance business in Ukraine and Poland from the late nineteenth to the early twenty-first centuries. It identifies special aspects of the formation and use of elements of sacred art in the corporate identity of insurance companies. Dniester Mutual Insurance Company and Florianka Krakow Mutual Insurance Company are a particular focus. Examples of the use of images of St. Florian, crosses and the inscription “In the name of the Lord” in corporate identity of insurance companies are provided.
