Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present the complexity of the information processes in today’s world. It also explains the rule and the meaning of information strategy in local government unit. Moreover, the article describes basic concepts connected with information strategies and the information process in local government unit. The first part is devoted to theoretical background while next section provides the information strategies and its rule in local government unit.
