Summary/Abstract: Mór Jókai traveled to Rijeka in 1881. He visited Kraljevica and the Frankopan’s Castle in the Golf of Rijeka. The country’s romantic atmosphere inspired one of the locations in the novel A Gambler Who Wins. The study researches the literary veduta of the castle.
