Summary/Abstract: Extent of toxic influence of cadmium and nickel joint action on growth and development of the maize germinant and plants’ adaptation capabilities to negative influence of heavy metals was studied. Specific protective activity of the phytohormones Emistim C and Zeastimulin under conditions of the cadmium and nickel joint action was shown.
