Summary/Abstract: This work is included in an essentially semantic and pragmatic framework. Adjectives are, on the whole, terms in language which reflect, the subjectivity of the speaker. Such subjectivity becomes an average due to the systematic resource, a reference point –the evaluation rule– partly forged in relation to the idea that the speaker has regarding the applicability of a quality. Taking this point, we believe that the attribution of a quality to an object can be modified in two ways: in terms of intensity or suitability, on the one hand, an internal modification, on the other, an external modification. We propose a classification of the system of the modifying adjectives based on this difference.
