Summary/Abstract: Anthropometry is a technique that can numerically express an individual's body shape. Anthropometric measurements taken from individuals particularly in formation of ergonomic designs provide to produce private products of manufacturers and designers. The aim of this study is to determine the relationship and effect between the anthropometric measurements taken from the police candidates and the shooting performance of the police candidates. The 14th /term 244 police candidates (male) studying at Çankırı Police Vocational Training Center are the material of this research. Anthropometric measurements were taken from individuals and body mass indexes were calculated. Afterwards gunshots of were performed and their performances were evaluated. As a result, weapon use performance has affected shot scores and the BKE value must be between 18-27 for to be police candidate.
