Summary/Abstract: The paper develops a justification for God’s timelessness. The author starts with providing a critique of tensed understanding of God in general that is supplemented with a critique of the views of particular proponents of this position. The position that God is timeless is finds its classical expression in Anselm of Canterbury and Thomas Aquinas. This view is connected with the concept of all at once God. Simultaneously, God exists in all events in time, which require the physical existence of their event-bearers. The author then presents the advantages of the timeless understanding of God in comparison with the tensed one, which proves the timeless understanding to be more justified.
