Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to reflect upon the vision of the Jesuit Faculty of Theology. The first part bears ideas about university education system, its goal and content, presenting two main types, namely Newman's and Humboldt's concept of university. It also deals with the role of philosophy at university. The second part presents the Jesuit educational tradition and its principles, and refers to its similarity with renaissance studia humanitatis regarding its focus on integral personal development. The last part contains an analysis of website data based on profiles of theology graduates at various universities and the results of the pilot survey among the TF TU graduates with regard to their satisfaction with the quality of studies at the Jesuit Faculty of Theology.
