Summary/Abstract: Advances in computer technology have now made it possible to analyze 18th and 19th centuryhand drawn maps separately, together, alongside each other or even superimposed with topographic contourmaps and satellite images. All this can have concrete and significant results in several fields of topographicarchaeology, among which it is not just revealing the hydrological and road system layout that is very important, but also the mounds that were held accounted centuries ago and the locations of ruined churches, and with thehelp of these, the localization of the medieval villages. Our current study, however, only encompasses the latter, finding the location of the medieval church and that of the village, and is intended as an example for future suchpossibilities.
