Summary/Abstract: The main objective of this paper was to compare two methods – Consumer Survey and research carried out by the Mystery Shopping method and determine whether the direct examination of consumers can be replaced with the indirect test. Tests were carried out in restaurants from October 2010 to July 2011, included customer satisfaction survey questionnaire and the study of quality of services provided by restaurants with Mystery Shopping method.
