Summary/Abstract: One of the characteristics of the information society, which distinguishes it from the industrial society is a communication system based on technological progress in the computerization and informatization. On the Business to Business market (B2B), we can observe dissemination of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) between companies. EDI determines the exchange of information, which usually boils down to the automatic exchange of documents between IT systems of trading partners. Growing popularity EDI owes to the possibility of eliminating to repeatedly enter the same data to the system. Moreover, by combining the relevant computer applications between companies participating in the exchange, the use of EDI can significantly accelerate and improve the accuracy of the flow of commercial information. In this article there are presented advantages of application – a key in B2B relationships – of integrated system of information flow and its superiority over traditional methods of communication
