The meaning of the financial intermediation in extention of information society

Summary/Abstract: The basic conditions that must be completed to be consider entire society as the Information Society is modern telecommunications network, which in its range would cover all members of society, as individuals and as employees. In the case of upgrowth of Information Society one of the obstruction is society education. Studies conducted in Poland indicate that the sector of banking and financial, is the leading one in the development of the use of new technologies. Financial intermediaries have become institutions, introducing innovative methods of communicating, processing and information gathering and dissemination of knowledge that come with it in society. For the functioning of financial intermediaries, education has become essential to secure customers’ ability to log into the banking systems, operations, transfers, establishment of investment, opening, closing accounts, approve the transaction. An important element of education carried out by financial intermediaries, which is essential in creating an information society has become a legal education, understanding citizens/clients to the dangers associated with the use of modern technology. Customers having up to date statistical data, evaluations and experts evaluations can make more rational decisions about finances, than the other counselors, employees of financial intermediaries over the Internet are in constant contact with product information, customer service center, access to the database. Created perfectly functioning network services, knowledge bases by which financial intermediaries have become one of the most important elements of the creation of information society.
